michael_95073 Note added Wed Dec 11 17:21:46 2013 John had five young males under 17 on the 1790 census. They would have been Perrin, James, Edmond or Rice, Reuben and Cornelius.
Cooley John 1 5 3 0 0
Cooley Edward 1 2 1 0 0
Cooley Joseph 1 0 1 0 0
By 1800, sons William, Daniel, John and Joseph had relocated to Kentucky. Sons Edward, James, Perrin, and Rice have their own households in Stokes County. Two males are living with John in that year: one 10-15, and one 16-44. Cornelius, if the dates for him are right, would have been about 19. In addition to John's presumed wife, the are two females, 0-9 and 10-15. Elizabeth would have been about 17, if the years for her are correct. Who was the young girl?
