Three of Rex's brothers-in-law (Harry, Sammie and Eugene Warden) are found living with the family. Like Winnie, Harry was born in Iowa. The younger brothers were born in Indiana. We can probably assume, then, that Winnie's maiden name was probably Winifred Warden.
