Cooley, Sidney Burton - 54, of Zanesville, Ohio, died Tuesday in a Zanesville hospital of a heart attack.
Surviving are his wife, Selma of Poca; four daughters, Mrs. Marcie Smith of Nitro, Mrs. Joann Gibson of Black Betsy, Mrs. Delores Gessle of Zanesville and Miss Evelyn Cooley of Homestead, Fla.; four sons, Eugene of Columbus, Ohio, Arlen Ray of Zanesville and Ronald and Kenneth, both of Poca; his mother, Mrs. Lilly Colley (sic, Cooley) of Akron, Ohio; three sisters, Mrs. Verda Libbey and Mrs. Nina Bodner, both of Akron, and Mrs. Beulah Ratliss (sic, Ratliff) of Zanesville; and a step-brother Leon Charles of Cleveland, Ohio. Service will be at 1 p.m. at Baker and DeLong mortuary chapel at Zanesville. The body is at the mortuary.
