Frank Cooley Sr., 89, of Hillsville, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011, at Twin County Regional Hospital in Galax, Va. He was preceded in death by his parents, Everette Rudolph and Molly Kate Worrell Cooley; and daughter, Jeanne Driver. He is survived by his wife, Ella Kate Cooley; sons and daughters-in-law, Ellis Franklin Cooley Jr. and Marie Cooley, of Murrells Inlet, S.C., Roger A. and Jan H. Cooley, of Beaversdam, Va., and Dennis P. and Terri Cooley, of Kernersville, N.C.; daughters and son-in-law, Susie Cooley, of Hillsville, and Teresa and Patrick Sullivan, of Stokesdale, N.C.; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Mildred Cooley, of Hillsville; 10 grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; and one greatgreat-grandchild. Funeral Services will held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at the Hillsville First Christian Church with Dr. John Dunstan and Gene Elkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Coal Creek Cemetery.
