The information contained in these entries on the microfiche is taken from the federal land office ledgers, State Auditor's files, or county swampland sale records. No further information can be found in these sources except in cases when the "Warrant" appears in the column headed "Total Price". This means the individual used military bounty land warrants instead of cash for payment. The additional information found in these ledgers is the number of the warrant, date of the warrant certificate, and the name of the person in whose favor the name was issued. This may or may not be the same name as appears on the microfiche as the "Name of Purchaser". If this additional information is desired, a written report will be sent on request.
