Plummer Pettit (died ca. 1830, Morgan Co. OH) served in the War of 1812 under Capt. Alexander Thompson. He served only 5 days (July 26, 1813 - July 30, 1813) and was discharged, as per his service record, "on account of bodily inability to serve." This unit, however, does not appear in "Muster Rolls of the Pennsylvania Volunteers in the War of 1812" - Genealogical Publishing Co., 1967.
