Will(i)ard A./ Grant Bozarth (1867-1934) married in New Jersey 26 December 1887 Carrie C. Pettit (ca. 1871 - post 1934), d/o Powell and Mary E. Pettit. Willard and Carrie had but one child, Mary, 19 in 1910, who is probably the Mary E. Bozarth who married Frederick Shubert of Atlantic City, New Jersey on 22 October 1911 in a ceremony held at the home of her uncle at Bridgeton, New Jersey and performed by the Rev. Petty, her grandfather. Willard Bozarth was baptized in the Methodist Church at Berlin, New Jersey on 17 Nov 1867, so this may have been a Methodist service, and the Rev. Petty may be Powell Pettit. Can anyone identify this Pettit family? Will be happy to send additional information about the antecedents of Willard. I am looking for the descendants of Samuel Adams Pettit (1742-1826) and his wife Margaret (Sniff) Pettit, born in 1790 in New Jersey. They lived at Tridelphia, Ohio.
