I am looking for parents, birthplace and etc. on Frances Elizabeth Pettit. She was the wife of Revolutionary War soldier Isaac C. Allen from Scott County, Virginia. We believe Isaac was in North Carolina before moving to Virginia. It appears that Frances and Isaac were married in Scott County, Virginia. Thomas Syndor Allen (my ancestor) was born to them 13 June 1790. Assume that Francis died in Scott County. Isaac and 2nd wife Peggy sold land in Scott County, Virginia September 1831 and traveled to Fountain County, Indiana where he died 15 December 1831.
