The nice thing about this is that it helps confirm the notion that William
Washington Cooley of Ohio does fit here. According to his death record, he
was born in Howard county, and his father was Isaac Cooley. We have
positive proof that Isaac did have a son named William.
My thought that he had a brother John does not pan out in the probate
records. But what of the others listed here? Did they go to Ohio with
William?
