A Thadeus Cooley was on the Lincoln Co., KY tax lists in 1787 & 1791 and
Madison Co., KY tax lists 1788-1790 & 1792. He had no land.
A Thadeous Cooley is on the 1810 census in Wythe Co., VA.
The will of a Thaddeus Cooley was probated 13 Dec. 1814, Wythe Co., VA
with a wife Elizabeth, a son Daniel who had a daughter Caty, son John,
son Joseph & daughter Betsey.
A Thadias Cooley was on the 1820 census of Whitewater, Hamilton Co., OH
& on the 1830 census of Franklin Co., IN (formed 1810 from Clark,
Dearborn & Jefferson).
A Jabez Cooley has a will that was probated 6 Aug. 1806, Hamilton Co.,
OH. Heirs were Ebenezer, Thaddeus, William, Margaret Brinton, Martha
Davis, & Hannah Walden.
A Jabes Cooley is on the 1787 tax list of Lincoln Co., KY.
A Jebus Cooley is on the 1789 & 1790 tax lists of Madison Co., KY.
Wythe Co. was formed in 1789 from Montgomery Co., VA & Thaddeus was on
the Montgomery Co., tax list of 1788 & on the 1810 census of Wythe Co., VA.
Hamilton Co., OH borders Dearborn Co., IN.
A Thaddeus Cooley had land in Section 27 of Dearborn Co., IN in 1804 &
was there on an 1807 census.
The first census for KY is 1810 and for OH is 1820. Many of the 1810
census records for VA are missing, but there are tax records for the
missing counties (Grayson Co. tax lists had Abraham, Benjamin, Daniel &
Peter Cooley).
