Julie,

I did receive your email but have been slow to check online this week.

The photo we have of Perrin and Margaret is large, we are technically challenged but Joel has taken "a picture of a picture" and says he will forward it to the list tomorrow (out running errands and has a meeting tonight)!

The "Princes" Albert Cooley first showed up on that federal census and we thought it was misspelled. Then the photo of his gravestone also showed Princes. The Helena MT directories have him as P. Albert I believe. We chuckled it might have been after Prince Albert-in-a-can, an old practical joke (dates us). No reason known!

Good hunting, Julie!

Nancy

Woodward ok was where Etta Mae Mayo was from ( Albert Patrick (Princes) firs=
t wife. After they split she went back and married another neighbor. (Fost=
er). They're all on a census together in 1890 maybe? Albert was born in Hay=
s kansas in 1775, so unless they went back and forth (possible) they were i=
n Kansas first. Albert was younger than Joseph though, and I think Joseph w=
as born in Missouri somewhere, so I always assumed they married there the fi=
rst time too.

I have looked In The archives in the Macon County courthouse but it's not ve=
ry organized and wasn't able to learn anything that wasn't online already.=20=

Nancy I don't think I have the photo of Perrin and Margaret, just the one of=
 them with Albert (Pat)

Are there any references to him being called Princes in your records other t=
han what we've discovered already, I still find that bizarre.
