I love the idea of nicknames.
Am I the only one who fantasizes about time travelling back in my genealogy to be there when folks are picking names and ask them to be more "colorful"?
John is a great name. But, I would give my left arm for a few more boys named "Riter" or "Eason"!
Anyways, I think nicknames will help keep the generations straight.
