Thanks Michael. Very interesting.

Maybe in a few years the price for the Big Y test will drop to where we
non-wealthy men can take it. Until then I agree that the Y-STR test at
FTDNA is best. I just wish a Cooley living in the British Isles would match
us. Back in 2005 when I took the test I thought in 5 years we have such a
match, but it turned out our Cooley Y-DNA is very rare and/or the Cooleys
in the British Isles aren't taking Y-DNA tests.
