Charles William Cooley is a son of DeWitt Clinton Cooley and wife Nancy Jane.

Charles William Cooley
Services were held in the Paas Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, Dec. 22, 1949,
for Charles William Cooley, son of Mr. and Mrs. DeWitt Cooley. He was born at
Casseyville, Macon County, Missouri, Feb 15, 1885, and passed from this earthly
life Tuesday, Dec 20, 1949.
He moved to Tulsa, on December 1900, and for several years was engaged in the
livery business with his father. In 1928 he entered the employment of Phillips
Petroleum Company, and continued with them until his death. He came to Edmond in
1937, where he has since made his home.
Mr. Cooley was married to Eula Mae Upton, at the Christian church in Tulsa, May
31, 1916. To this union was born one son, Charles R.
Besides this son and the widow, there also survive him 2 sisters, Mrs. Iva
Flournory of Owasso, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Frank Wood, one brother, Elias Cooley of
Clarement, Oklahoma.
