On the Macon Co., Mo. Index there are marriage listings by both bride =
and groom.
There is a marriage listed for Thomas M. Cooly to Polly Ellen Truett on =
1March1860.
Could this be Thomas M. Cooley? It does not list his age. There are a =
few other Cooley marriages listed.

Reread T.M. Cooley's cw papers and found it was Benton Barracks not =
Barton. It was located near St. Louis.

Has anyone found Thomas Marion Cooley on any other census other than =
the 1850? Since he enlisted in Macon county, MO for the CW, I have =
tried the index for all kinds of spellings for 1860 with no luck. Also, =
I have tried anywhere and everywhere and have come up empty. Do you =
suppose that he might have died after being muster out in Nashville, TN? =
He had been in the hospital for a month with pneumonia. Where is =
Barton Barrack Hospital?
Questions, questions.
Sandy
