Thomas Jefferson Cooley

Last Will and Testament made on the 21st day of Sept, 1900

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

THAT I, T.J. Cooley of the County of Macon and the State of Missouri being of sound mind and memory , do make and publish this my LAST WILL and TESTAMENT, in manner and form following:

First: I desire all of my just debts and funeral expenses to be promptly paid.

Secondly: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ida Barnes the sum of one Dollar.

Thirdly: I give devise and bequeath unto my son Arthur Cooley the sum of one Dollar.

Fourthly: I give and devise and bequeath unto my daughter Eva N. Adams the sum of one Dollar.

Fifthly: I give devise and bequeath unto my son Charley Cooley the sum of one Dollar.

Sixthly: I give devise and bequeath unto my beloved wife Elizabeth F Cooley the use and control of all my personal property, to have and to hold the same during her natural life, with the full right to dispose of any and all of the same as she may desire or see fit & to apply the proceeds of same to her own use, I also give and bequeath unto my beloved wife, a life Estate in and to all of my Real Estate, and all income & improvement she may receive there from . To use& receive all the income from the same during her natural life.

Seventhly: I give devise & bequeath unto my beloved sons, Everett J Cooley and Zollie E Cooley and Zeddie C Cooley to be Equally divided between them after the death of my beloved wife Elizabeth F Cooley all of my personal property, my beloved wife owns or possesses at the time of her death. Also I give devise & bequeath unto my beloved sons Everett J Cooley, Zollie E Cooley and Zeddie C Cooley all of my Real Estate in fee simple heretofore devised & bequeathed to my wife a life interest in and to the same & all income & Profit my wife may have added to the same, to have and to hold the same Equally to the said Everett J Cooley Zollie E Cooley and Zeddie C Cooley & to their heirs & assigns forever said last bequest to take effect after the death of my beloved wife.

Signed sealed published and declared by the said T J Cooley as and for his last will & Testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses unto.
