Austrailian Cooley from Leeds

As co-admin of the Cooley DNA Project, I received an inquiry from
Australia. He's a pertinent sentence:

--quote--
Our most distant Cooley ancestor was JOHN COOLEY 1742/43 - 1789 who
married (Mary GLOVER) in Leeds, in 1778 then lived at Kippax (all
Yorkshire, UK)
--endquote--

They've ordered a Y test. The significance for us is merely that we will
know what the DNA for an 18th century Yorkshire Cooley looked like. Will
it look anything like any of the US Cooleys? We'll learn in a few weeks.

BTW, the test kit for the Reuben Ransom Cooley descendant went out on
Thursday and the kit for the Abraham descendant went out on Friday. Here's
a better link should any of you want to contribute to the Abraham test:

Happy New Year everyone!
