This was the first email from this address for me as well. Congratulations on the new degree. By the by I have transferred a full copy of my Scott Cooley file (1855 - 1876) to the Texas Ranger Museum in Waco. It will also go to the Mason County Historical Commission in Mason. Someone in the future may want to access it. Congrats again. Are others seeing the same thing? Is everyone getting these? Feel free to send a test post. I'm not sure I mentioned that I graduated in May with a degree in history at Humboldt State University (Arcata, CA). And I've just learned that both classes I proposed to OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) have been accepted for the fall: Beginning Genealogy, and Introduction to Genetic Genealogy. It goes without saying, I guess, that I love this stuff. Perhaps this is a good opportunity for us all to touch base. Feel free to let the list know what you're up to--genealogically or otherwise. -Michael -- distlist 0.9 See http://ancestraldata.com/listarchive/johncooleylist/ for list information.
