Joseph Cooley's first wife

The mtDNA results for my friend, a matrilineal descendant of Joseph's
first wife, have come in. Nothing startling as she's haplogroup H. Judging
by her matches, many of whom have had their mtDNA completely sequenced,
she is probably H4a1a. Doing a quick perusal, I see mention of a matched
woman born in Stokes County in the 1780s. I need to spend more time with
it, but that's encouraging.

But there is another reason to bring this up. I've learned that there is a
new standard for analyzing the results. The old system, known as the rCRS
(Revised Cambridge Reference Sequence), may soon go away and replaced by
the RSRS (Reconstructed Sapiens Reference Sequence). Here's an article:
