WINTER HAVEN - Ms. Rita Ann Cooley, age 71, of Winter Haven passed away
Wednesday, November 2, 2011 in Auburndale due to renal failure.
Ms. Cooley was born in Lime Springs, Iowa and had lived in this area since
1979, coming from Chillicothe, MO. She was a retired ward clerk with
Winter Haven Hospital and attended St. Josephs Catholic Church in Winter
Haven. Ms. Cooley enjoyed the beach and spending time with her family and
friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Clara Horn and her
husband Mark E. Cooley. Survivors include 3 sons Jeff Cooley of
Chillicothe, MO, Randy Cooley of Danville, VA, and Danny Cooley of
Auburndale, daughter Angela Allen of Winter Haven, brother Ronald Horn of
Van Nuys, CA, a sister Betty Horn of Cresco, IA, 9 grandchildren and 6
great grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Monday from 6 until 8 pm
at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale. Memorials may be made to the
