DNA for a Yorkshire Cooley

The first 12 markers have come in for an Australian Cooley who,
apparently, descends from a John Cooley (1742/43-1789) of Yorkshire,
England. The exciting thing for us is that he is also R1a1a. However, the
tester matches on only 8 of 12 markers with us, which means the connection
is likely ancient. BUT, this may be exiting news for the other R1a1a
Cooley group, CF04. The tester matches with them 11/12 markers. If the
comparison holds up, his results will be placed in that group, which
includes Francis Cooley (1767-1842) of Allegheny Co., PA, Robert Cooley
(1754-1794) of Luzerne Co. PA, and Richard Cooley (1756-1840) of Fayette
County, PA.

Attached is a map that shows the placement of Yorkshire in England. This
is very consistent with the idea that our Y guy went to Scotland from
Norway.

I'll let the list know where this ends up going.
