William Cooley, Randolph County, Mo. 1840
The William Cooley property, original land purchase of Randolph County, Mo.
is next door to
John Cooley, son of Joseph. John purchased his land in 1832 and William in
1834. Is this
William the son of Perrin or the son of James? Very near is two other
children of James Cooley, Timothy and Jemima Cooley White. In the 1850
census there is a William Cooley which fits the age living in Macon County.
Both Timothy and Jemima move to Macon County. James' son, William was born
about
1804 which fits the William living next to John Cooley in Randolph County,
1840.
The property for Perrin, Perrin, Jr. and James is all connected to each
other in just one range different.
John Cooley had a son named William but this could not have been his son
living next door as he was born in 1818, did not marry until 1840 and had no
children until 1841.
In the Public Tree section of Ancestry, I cannot find a William Cooley, son
of
Perrin. Are we certain Perrin had a son named William or is the William
Cooley next door
to John Cooley the son of James Cooley, father John, Sr.
