We now have a clear record of John's children and we now know, without
doubt, that he was James's brother. And that means the John who we find in
1850 and 1860 and who I had attributed to Perrin Sr was NOT Perrin's son.
He was probably James's (1771-1821) son! The Dickson County James's
relationship to the others isn't stated, but I think we can very safely
assume they were siblings.

That William Cooley was living in Oregon gives some pause. It's possible
we haven't properly ID'd him.

Perrin C Cooley (born 1820) is still a mystery. :(

I'm going to merge the Cooley/Bearden page into the main John Cooley page.
